  1. What are your coverage areas?
We take a very different approach to market coverage. While most analyst firms cover technology areas, Neuralytix covers the business value of IT. We take a business problem, and discuss how various technologies apply to the problem.
  2. What are your opinions of the IT Analysis Marketplace and where do you see it going?
Despite being an alumnus of a very large analyst firm; we believe that most IT vendors are interested in the

opinions of independent analyst firms. We also believe that analysts will become influencers. (Not that they were not before). However, those analysts who have greater influence on social media and other new media will be more relevant than the traditional report based publication model.

  3. What’s your typical day like?
There is no “typical”. Some days are spent on a plane; others are spent on a stage; others are spent in an audience; some days are spent on the phone; but my best type of day, is the day that I get to take an afternoon nap!
  4. How do you position your firm? What is your business model?
We use a combination of free-to-public blogs and reports and combine that with bespoke advisory. Our mix of users and vendors are proprietary, but the best way to consider this, is that our business are marketed towards technology stakeholders. This includes both vendors and users.
  5. What is your research methodology, in 255 characters or less?
Again, our methodology is custom, based on the needs of each client. However, for our free-to-public blogs and reports, we primarily leverage secondary research.
  6. Tell us about one good AR practice you’ve experienced or one good AR event you’ve attended.
The one good AR practice that has been experienced is that of an “Executive Analysts”. This singular analyst is personally responsible for ensuring that the analyst firm covers all aspects of the vendor. An Executive Analyst should actively engage on 1:1 meetings with the client to ensure that there is sufficient proactivity to ensure mutual benefits between the client and analyst.
  7. What are your offerings and key deliverables?
Our top deliverables are through our free-to-public reports and blogs. Our bespoke offerings come in the form of short- and long- underwritten reports; what we call our “Candid Counsel”, which are best considered as strategy days; as well as speaking engagements.
  8. Any hobbies or favourite restaurant / food that you’d like to share?
    Favourite Chef: Undoubtedly Gordon Ramsay!
  9. What is your biggest challenge for the upcoming six months? And for the next 30 minutes?
The biggest challenges will be to influence the IT community to better understand business. As for the
