NetApp says “Me too!!”
On February 13, 2013, NetApp very quietly acquired ionGrid. Neuralytix believes that this is yet another example of NetApp demonstrating itself to be an also-ran, or a “me too” company. NetApp has consistently been let down due to its incapacity to evangelize its achievements, and most importantly its technology leadership. Instead it should demonstrate that the maturation of the company and the successes it has achieved is a result of being a technology leader and a visionary company.

There are simply too many negative Nelly’s out there. Windows 8 is a great operating system. Yes, it does require some learning, but technology is about new things. If it wasn’t for the likes of Ashton-Tate (who wrote MultiMate), Ron Barnaby (who wrote WordStar), WordPerfect, Microsoft for Word, and of course IBM for revolutionizing the typewriter, we would all still be typing on a Royal typewriter and flinging platens across a room!
