On September 9, 2025, Helikai announced its official launch. Helikai is a startup focused on helping enterprises leverage AI for accelerating specific business processes and workflows in markets including healthcare, media and entertainment (M&E), as well as legal and data infrastructures.
Neuralytix research shows that enterprises are under pressure to deliver AI-powered customer-facing products and solutions, as well as leveraging AI to improve internal operational efficiency and performance. However, the biggest challenge is understanding what and where AI can help.
Most AI vendors provide general-purpose AI models. These AI models are typically specific to a provider and designed for enterprise-wide deployments. The challenge with these solutions is that it requires significant investments by the customer in capital infrastructure, highly skilled human resources, and time. While there is a need for enterprise-wide AI solutions, seeing a measurable return on AI investment is somewhat unpredictable in terms of the degree of success or the time necessary to quantify a positive return.
For most enterprises, they are seeking AI that can solve specific problems within the enterprise and observe fast and quantifiable positive return on its AI investment.
Helikai addresses the latter by delivering solutions that focus on specific solutions for specific tasks for a specific vertical. This reduces the time-to-value for the customer.
At launch, Helikai is announcing:
- A catalog of pre-built and reusable AI agents called Helibots,
- A secure private retrieval-augmented generation (or SPRAG) platform that can be deployed on-premises or in the public cloud,
- KaiFlow, a “human-in-the-loop” orchestration layer, and
- Malama, a suite of performance optimizations technologies to optimize resource consumption and cost-efficiency.
Although Helikai did not disclose any customer wins at launch, Neuralytix research shows that Helikai is revenue positive.
It is Neuralytix’s opinion that many enterprises are too overwhelmed with where AI will benefit them. We believe that Helikai’s task-specific approach allows enterprises to quickly assess the benefits of AI in a controlled and incremental manner.
